He has undergone training in poultry farming and feed milling under the distinguished professor John Brake at the North Carolina State University, USA. He has also taken various courses like the International Grains Programme at the Kansas State University and the Nutrition Programme at the Schothorst feed research center, Netherlands.

Varun has joined Sneha farms as the director in 2012 has handled various divisions in the company over the years. He has experience in feed manufacturing, commercial feed sales, chicken retailing, poultry processing and FMCG. He also leads the business strategic committee and advisory board.
